La Val Finca Arantei is an Albariño from Rías Baixas, born in one of the oldest vineyards in the appellation: a 26-hectare estate on the banks of the Miño River, trained on traditional Galician pergolas. Its deep alluvial soils, rich in clay, together with a privileged microclimate, yield ripe, fruit-driven and beautifully balanced grapes. Inspired by the old colleiteiros, who made wine with patience and wisdom, it is hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts from the vineyard itself and rested on its fine lees. Part of the wine is fermented in oak barrels and large foudres, adding complexity and depth without losing freshness. The result is a single-estate Albariño with a character all its own, true to its origins and made for those looking for more than just another Atlantic white.
