Grapes used for Maruxa Godello are a selection from our vineyards in the villages of Entoma, Regueiron, Valdemioto and O Serro. Soils in these high altitude vineyards with a 30% inclination are mostly slate.
Manual harvest in cases of 15 kgs to preserve the integrity of the grape. Once the grape arrives at the winery, they’re cooled to avoid oxidation. Alcoholic fermentation takes places at controlled temperatures to ensure the wine preserves varietal aromas.

Val do Galir Mencía
“Val do Galir Mencía comes from two south-facing plots in Éntoma on the upper parts of the terraces, at an altitude of 500 m, with loamy clay and slate soil. This wine aims to reflect the identity of Éntoma red wine: a wine that showcases the potential of Atlantic red wines from the banks of the Sil and Galir valley”
